Mel Vera
Executive Director
Mel Vera is a Colombia native raised in New York City. After graduating from Babson College, her degree in Environmental Economics inspired her to start Atlus, a nonprofit based in Medellin focused on reducing youth violence and unemployment through blockchain, AI, and ecology education. After serving as Executive VP for the Blockchain Education Network (where she is now an advisor) and aiding Business Development at Injection Protocol, Mel began her current role leading Ecosystem & Education for DoinGud, an NFT platform empowering creators and social impact organizations.
Maddie James
Education Design
Maddie is a blockchain educator and web3 creative. She is the founder of arrived, a venture shepherding communities and companies into the next generation of web through education and web3 experience design such as token launches or NFT drops. A graduate from University of Virginia, her degree in American Studies stoked a passion for understanding and eliminating inequality and is the foundation for her conviction that blockchain education is a cornerstone of social and economic empowerment.
